Yesterday, Congressman Mark Walker (R-N.C.) issued a press release with a copy of a letter he sent to U.S. Navy Secretary Richard Spencer in which he inquired about recent news of UFO encounters with Navy pilots.
Read all about it on the Congressman’s website:
While Congressman Walker is not part of the Gang of Eight and probably does not have the necessary clearance or need to know to actually receive proper answers to his questions, this initiative is a step in the right direction. For those of us who have been following this issue closely, it’s extremely encouraging.
Having a member of Congress make this statement publicly is testament to the fact that times and perceptions are changing. If Congressman Walker felt comfortable enough to do it, it was not just because of a sense of duty or personal curiosity, but very much because ordinary civilians, members of the media and his constituents made it clear that it was okay to allocate time and resources to this question.
You, too, can make a difference. Write your representatives. Show them what Congressman Mark Walker did, and tell them you’d like to see them do the same. For instructions on contacting your representatives, visit DontStormArea51.com.
